The Court

The Scoring
The scoring system in padel is similar to tennis, in which each point counts as 15 points. The first team to reach forty with at least two points difference wins the set. The match is usually played in a best-of-three sets format.
The Serve
The serve must be done within the service box diagonally opposite the server, and must hit the ground before being returned by the receiver. The serve must touch the receiver’s court before bouncing outside the court again.
The Ball
Like tennis, the padel ball is a small, rubber ball that bounces off the walls, which means that the match can last longer than in squash or tennis.
The Rules of Play
When the ball hits the wall, it can only bounce once on the ground before being returned by the opponent. The ball can also be hit over the net directly, rather than off the walls.
